The 30-hour Construction Safety and Health Program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in the construction industry. The Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards on construction worksites. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
Supervisors are invaluable to a world-class safety culture. As an "agent of the employer," every supervisor has a legal obligation to understand his or her safety responsibilities in the workplace. This program helps supervisors develop the knowledge and skills to fulfill those responsibilities and be an effective leader.
